Faith and Reason

We live in a world of flesh and fantasy

While He lives in a sphere of Faith and Reason

Can we ever see beyond our own misjudgments

To accept what we cannot prove through science and fact?

And do we still believe that it’ll come to us

Without looking into His eyes and seeing ourselves?

The pieces of His heart will be tender

When we lift our arms and raise ourselves off the ground

Our flesh will decay

His earth we’ll betray

Our essence He’ll accept

And our errors He’ll absolve

We’ll live as one within His flesh

And our Faith and Reason will be His existence
