I’ve been telling myself for years that I wanted to try my hand a producing a coloring book.

I finally buckled down and watched dozens of YouTube turtorials on how to produce a coloring book in just 30 minutes and make thousands a month with passive income.

I had an original idea and I didn’t want to just cut and paste the same clip-art that I continually see in other coloring books, so it took me a lot longer than 30 minutes to produce this book.

I’m quite detailed oriented (anal, some may say), and I put a lot of work into it. It actually took me a few weeks to go from concept to published. I started with creating the images, and then recreating them all in black and white. That was quite a learning curve for me. Then I had to organize them, figure out correct page size and how to put them into a properly formatted PDF, design and build a cover, write a description, and finally, submit to Amazon KDP. Yup, a couple weeks — not 30 minutes.

Though, I think I have the system down now and the next one should not take as long — fingers crossed.

Thousands a month in passive income? That still remains to be seen. But fingers, toes, legs, and arms…
